Gastric Botox

 

Similar to injection for wrinkles, gastric botox is applying Botulinum toxin directly into the certain areas of the stomach lining during an endoscopy. This procedure takes about 10-15 minutes, and patients are able to go home after they have recovered from the sedation.

Stomach botox can actually be applied to anyone who wants to lose weight. This procedure is not an obesity surgery. However, there are certain criterias for patients who can be applied.
